There is now a Web site where people can find out what goes on at Florida's 287 hospitals and other health care facilities -- including complications with procedures.

The site lets people check up on any hospital in the state. The site promises performance ratings in categories such as open-heart surgery, hip replacement, brain surgery and others. It also provides details ranging from the number of patients, charges and complication rates for various medical conditions, and lets Floridians compare information for specific facilities.
