Facebook is rolling out new chat sidebar across most of the users, so it might happen the next time you log in to your facebook account you see a new sidebar option in facebook which asks you to try it or hide sidebar as shown in the image below.
Most of the people are not liking this new chat sidebar as there is no option to scroll through the list of friends on facebook, as per many it does not display all the friends with whom you chat most often.
Now you can easily hide it by clicking the settings icon and then select hide sidebar as shown in the image below.
